River City Prospectors is the Sacramento Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA). We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the interest of small scale mining and to educate in all aspects of mining and mining methods, regulatory issues, best practices and responsible mining!
River City Prospectors hold meetings once a month January through November.
Meetings are held on the third (3rd) Tuesday of the Month at 6:30 pm at
Denny's 122 Sunrise Ave, Roseville, CA
Arrive early to order food and meet other members!
Various outings are scheduled throughout the year for members. Outings are often held at parks or one of our gold claims.
